Customers should contact the corresponding vendors directly. ** The seemingly absurd value of 100AU arises from the fact that the Beer-Lambert law is not applicable to a nonconventional wide range flow cell (patent pending) used in these detectors. The flow cell provides various pathlengths to the incident UV beam simultaneously, so, even for the most concentrated solutions, some light still reaches the photodetector. The non-linear cell response is mathematically corrected for an ideal 1mm cell. This way, the measured OD value is still proportional to the substance concentration, even if OD exceeds 5AU.
